The  most spectacular duo in the sky, Albireo forms the head of the the swan in the Cygnus constellation. With the eye it appears as one star but  when resolved through a telescope it splits into two stars of a most beautiful contrast. Albireo A (primary) is a brighter orange while Albire B (companion) is a soft blue. This picture was taken with a Phillips Webcam, 4" Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, and 2x Barlow.  By Walt Davis.
